How to Sign In to Adobe Acrobat Pro
Adobe Acrobat Pro is available on all university-managed computers. If you already have a license, you just need to sign in once to activate the Pro features.
Before You Start
- You must have an active Adobe Acrobat Pro license assigned to your CUA account.
- You must be connected to the internet.
- These steps apply to CUA-managed Windows and Mac computers.
Step 1: Open Adobe Acrobat
- Open Adobe Acrobat from your computer.
- Windows: Start Menu → Adobe Acrobat
- Mac: Applications → Adobe Acrobat
- Open any PDF file.
Note: The app may simply be called Adobe Acrobat. This is normal. Pro features unlock after you sign in.

Click any of these tools to trigger the sign-in screen.
Step 3: Sign In with Your CUA Email

Step 4: Choose “Sign in with Google”
When Adobe asks how you want to sign in:
- Select Sign in with Google
- Choose your CUA Google account
- Complete 2 factor authentication if prompted
Once authenticated, Acrobat will activate Pro automatically.
Step 5: Confirm You’re Signed In
To verify activation:
- In Acrobat, go to Help
- Select Account
- Confirm your name and CUA email are listed
If you see your account information, you’re all set.
