The Information Security group within Technology Services collaborates in the creation of policies and procedures that support the University’s information-centric policies. It works to ensure the security of the organization's systems and information assets, and to protect against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction of data and information systems. Information Security implements established security policies or procedures, tracks compliance, and provides Incident Response leadership during an event.

Any member of The Catholic University of America community who identifies an information security situation of potential concern should report it promptly through one of the following channels:

  • Technology Services Service Desk 202-319-4357; ask for immediate escalation to the University Information Security Officer, Director of Operations, or the CIO.
  • Department of Public Safety x5111; ask for Technology Services escalation.

For Cardinal Credentials computer account or enterprise application access requests, please refer to the Technology Services Request an Account and Access page. Or, to submit an information security question or general service request, please send email to techsupport@cua.edu.
